RENTAL TERMS AND CONTITIONS- CAMPER

Vehicle reservation, deposit and rent
The vehicle is booked with a deposit / deposit of € 300 to the account specified by the camper hirer. The reservation is established , the embodiment shown in the camper hirer's account. The deposit will be returned to the account specified by the lessee when the rented vehicle is returned at the agreed time, in the same condition as it was at the time of rental.

The rent will be paid in full by debit / credit card (MC / Visa).

The lessee  is required to have at least a Category B license and at least 25 years of age.

The lessor may pre-confirm the renter's payment card with the equivalent of the deductible.

During the summer season the minimum rental period is 1 week.


Assignment of the Vehicle to the lessee and the Issues Included in the lease

The camper hirer shall deliver the vehicle to the lessee at the agreed time and place.

The rent includes a vehicle with equipment and contracted mileage. Rental price includes two gas cylinders, toilet chemicals, power cord for connection to external power supply. The vehicles have comprehensive motor third party liability and motor third party liability insurance. The Customer's deductible in the Nordic countries is EUR 1,200 per claim (other European countries EUR 2,000) for the insurance indemnity.


Vehicle Return
The vehicle is returned with the fuel tank full. If the tank is not filled, the camper hirer will fill the tank and charge the missing fuel price and the 20€ refill fee from the guarantee fee. When returning, the toilet cassette must be emptied and cleaned, the domestic waste water tank emptied and the internal cleaning done. If the toilet cassette has not been emptied and cleaned or the interior cleaning has not been done, an additional fee of € 100 will be charged. An additional cleaning fee may be charged on the deposit. The camper hirer will take care of the outside cleaning of the car.

The lessee returns the vehicle to the location specified in the rental agreement at the end of the agreed rental period. Changes in the return period must be agreed in good time with the camper hirer. If the vehicle is not returned at the agreed time and no change in the return time has been agreed with the camper hirer, the camper hirer has the right to charge a delay charge of 50 € / h for each starting hour. The camper hirer is not obliged to pay compensation if the tenant returns the vehicle before the agreed rental period.

If the vehicle has not been returned at the end of the rental period and no extension of the rental period has been agreed with the camper hirer, theft will be reported to the police. The camper hirer is entitled to reasonable compensation for the financial loss caused by the negligence.


Obligations and Responsibilities of the lessee
The Lessee is obliged to take care of the vehicle and its equipment so that it is returned in the same condition as it was at the time of delivery.

The lessee must inspect the leased vehicle at the time of delivery and record with the camper hirer any defects or defects in the lease. If no defects or defects have been recorded, the lessee shall be liable for such defects to the extent that they have been discovered by the lessee at the time of inspection.

The  lessee must make sure that the vehicle's windows, doors and sunroofs are closed and that the stairs are retracted when moving out. In the rain, care must be taken to close windows, doors and sunroofs so that the vehicle cannot enter the port.

During the rental period, the lessee is responsible for carrying out normal vehicle inspections and ensuring that the electrical equipment is used so that the batteries cannot be discharged. If the vehicle's starter battery is discharged through the Lessee's own negligence, such as leaving the headlights on in a parked vehicle or excessive use of the 12V plugs on the vehicle's dashboard while the vehicle is off, the Renter is responsible for charging the vehicle. The renter is advised to connect the vehicle to the mains when camping, to ensure the best performance of the electrical equipment and battery charging.


Damages or loss

The lessee is obliged to compensate for the vehicle or its equipment during the rental period and to replace any parts and accessories lost during the rental period.

  • The customer's deductible is € 1,200 per claim (Nordic countries) for damages covered by motor third party liability and motor third party liability insurance. Outside the Nordic countries, the deductible is 2000 € / event.
  • The customer is fully liable for any damage not covered by the vehicle insurance. Such damages include, for example markiisivahingot, car interiors caused by damage or damage caused by using the wrong fuel.
  • The camper hirer may deduct the costs incurred from the security deposit.
  • The lessee shall be released from liability if the lessor receives full compensation for the damage on the basis of the insurance or the person who caused the damage.

During the rental period, the lessee is responsible for paying camping, parking and parking defect fees, tolls, congestion, fines, breakages and other charges arising from the use of the vehicle.

Smoking in the vehicle is strictly forbidden. Pets are subject to separate agreement with the camper hirer.

The vehicle may not be exported outside Finland without the written permission of the landlord. Vehicles are not rented for trips to Eastern Europe or outside Europe. The Lessee has no right to transfer the vehicle to anyone other than the persons named in the lease.


The camper hirer's Obligations
The camper hirer is responsible for ensuring that the car is technically in a condition to be used at the time of delivery for the purpose of the contract. If the lessee does not receive the car as agreed, he / she may request a rent reduction corresponding to the delay. The camper hirer is not responsible for any costs incurred by the customer in the event of a delay or cancellation of the trip.

Thecamper hirer shall not be liable for any damage to the lessee, the lessee's property or the means of transport or other persons caused by the breakdown or failure of the vehicle. The camper hirer does not cover travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the lessee in the event of interruption of the journey.

The camper hirer is not responsible for the lessee's property that has been in the vehicle, eg in the event of theft, if the vehicle insurance does not cover it.


Action to be taken in the event of breakdown, damage or theft

In the event of a technical or other fault , the lessee shall immediately inform the lessor. The lessee is obliged to deliver the vehicle for repair at the camper hirer's request if the camper hirer so requests. The  lessee may also return the vehicle immediately to the lessor in the event of a defect, in which case the lease will expire at the time of delivery. In the event of a technical or other fault in the vehicle during the rental period, the lessee shall be entitled to a reduction of the rent corresponding to the defect. If the condition of the vehicle is materially defective, the lessee may request cancellation of the lease.

In the event of a tire damage, the lessee is obliged to repair the tire on behalf of the camper hirer, however, first by consulting with the camper hirer.

In the event of a traffic accident, the lessee is obliged to notify the landlord of the damage without delay. In the event of any ambiguity, the lessee must inform the police. Notification to the police is always made in the case of personal injury. Also in case of deer injuries, the lessee must always report to the police and provide the camper hirer with a certificate issued by the police.

In the event of theft , the lessee shall immediately inform the lessor of the theft of the vehicle. Theft must be reported to the police immediately. The camper hirer shall then inform the lessee of the action to be taken.

Failure by the lessee to make the above notices shall result in the lessor being liable for any resulting damage.


Termination of the contract
If the lessee terminates the contract

  • earlier than 14 days before the start of the rental period, the camper hirer is required to return the deposit / pledge minus 50.00€
  • earlier than 7 days before the start of the rental period, the camper hirer is required to return the deposit / pledge minus 100,00€
  • 7 days or later before the start of the rental period, the camper hirer is entitled to withhold a security deposit / deposit of 300€

The lessor is entitled to terminate the lease within the lease term if it becomes apparent that the lessee is in material breach of the lease or the terms of the lease or that the lessee is of the opinion that the lessee is unable to properly handle the vehicle.

If the use of the vehicle is prevented due to an accident or theft, the contract will be terminated upon notice by the lessor. Upon termination of the lease by the camper hirer, the lessee is obliged to return the vehicle to the camper hirer without delay.
